INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR FILING PATENT APPLICATION IN RUSSIA

• Full name and address of applicant(s)
• Full name and address of inventor(s)
• Drawings
• Brief description of the design: field of industrial design, description of related arts, bibliographic data of analogues (is possible), list of essential features represented on figures, aesthetic features of the industrial design, data on manufacturing techniques, materials and equipment (if possible)
• Copy of the first application (for a convention priority, if necessary)

Note:

• we recommend to file drawings with white background that made on computer graphics editor
• maximum number of views for one design is 7 (general, top, bottom, left, right, front, back)
• power of attorney is not required in a simple case
• procedure lasts within 10-12 months
• patent shall be valid for 25 years from the filing date. Design patent should be extended each 5 years to 25 years at all
