- There are significant discounts on official fees for countries with per head income lower then $3000. You could see list of States Party to the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, whose applicants are eligible for reductions in fees
- Eurasian Patent Office publish the Eurasian application upon expiry of 18 months from the filing date or from the priority date. Request of the applicant about starting substantial examination should be filed to the Eurasian Office before 6 months have elapsed from the date of publication of the Eurasian application. Therefore, in case of the Eurasian regional phase of PCT that is usually is after 31 months from priority date, filing and examination fees should be paid together at the time of filing application
